Olivetti Lettera 12 portable typewriter designed by Mario Bellini for Olivetti. 33 cm W x 37 cm D x 12 cm H, weight 5 kg. White cream coloured typewriter with black lid, in well-working condition. Typewriter is in excellent condition, no damages or defects, but the ribbon needs to be replaced. See photos for more information. Mario Bellini is a trained architect, industrial designer, teacher, spokesman, administrator and publisher and became one of the leading representatives of Italian design in the 1970s. The Lettera 12 typewriter is a beautiful design, a combination of curved surfaces, straight corners and a minimalist approach making this machine an example of good design. The machine is part of the permanent collection of MoMa and is featured in the collections of Design Schools and Academies.
