Antique Venetian late-Gothic furniture lock in forged iron, dating back to the 16th century. Rectangular plate included in bands carved with oblique carvings. Plate with 2 stylized dragons that look at each other, placed on the sides of the central patch, with opening handle in the shape of a heart. Venetian original key: oval bow with a little ring, rounded edge with 4 groups of nail bevels. 8-segment rose sump, capital with well, female cylindrical stem crumpled and brazed, bit with vertical/horizontal carvings and a central groove in the shape of a heart. These locks were normally mounted on large cabinets (see pictures). Dimensions: 15 x 10 x 4 cm. Key dimensions: 9.2 x 3.2 cm. Weight: 550 g.
