The Studio 44 is a famous mechanical semi-standard typewriter made by Olivetti in 1952. Grandfather Carlo’s typewriter, found in his sea house where he used it to write the contents he then gave to the local newspaper of his village. We recommend you a small total overhaul, to reuse it every day. A real beautiful museum-worthy typewriter. It was designed in 1952 by the architect and designer Marcello Nizzoli, collaborator of the Ivrea company since 1938, in collaboration with the engineer Giuseppe Beccio. The Studio 44 replaced the Olivetti Studio 42 model, released in 1935 and designed by the architects Figini and Pollini and by the painter Xanti Schawinsky. Technology: mechanical. Operation: manual.
