It was designed in 1935. It is the first semi-standard typewriter by Olivetti. Keyboard is QZERTY type, as it is usual for Italian typewriters. In addition to the writing keys, the keyboard includes a space bar. The writing keys have clear missing parts: there is no key with number 1, that is obtained by using the lower-case letter l (el) or the upper-case I (i); moreover, there is no zero, that is obtained by typing the upper-case O (o). Although this may seem strange today, it was quite common in old typewriters. Typewriter in good condition, with some signs of age (please see photos). Hard to find. Collector’s item.
