This beautiful, brilliant emerald-blue vase was made in the Meissener Bleikristall factory in the famous town of Meissen, Germany. This company has made cut crystal to a very high standard since 1947, as is evident when viewing this exquisite piece. The hand crafted flower decorations are cleverly cut so that the centre of the flowers sparkle in the light, almost like real diamonds. Each Meissen vase is hand crafted and therefore unique. This vintage vase is rare and signed with an ‘M’ for Meissen, the signature of the designer (JW) as well as the Meissen factory label.
