Spesiell antikk Comtoise-klokke med kvart sving og 3 klokker - Strykejern, støpejern og messing - 1800-tallet
Very beautiful and rare antique comtoise clock, due to a change in my collection.
Case is made of sheet steel with 2 doors and a brass shield, representing a grain harvest celebration from historical France.
Lyre pendulum and original cast iron weights.
Very well functioning clock. The clock has recently been serviced and also has new ropes.
It has an 8-day movement with a striking every 15 minutes and strikes on 3 bells.
The first fifteen minutes 1 x on 2 smaller bells. The second quarter 2 x on the 2 smaller bells. The third quarter 3 times on the 2 smaller bells and the number of hours on the large bell during the whole hours.
These types of comtoises are much rarer than the half-hour striking type and, of course, also more valuable and pleasant to use.
The clock is delivered including the fixation hoop and special winding key.
Very elegant and functional and fits into any interior.
This comtoise has a nice signature on the dial:
"Ch. le Chevalley a Mouilleron en Pareds "
Good condition with only minor signs of wear in relation to the age of more than 160 years.
Will be packaged with care and shipped insured with Track & Trace number.
