Wonderful and rare racing chronograph by the famous Mathey-Tissot brand. Special 38-mm cushion-shape steel case, which has been polished very neatly, with the original sunburst finish. The watch features a Tissot-signed crown. The grey dial is immaculate and this colour is rarely seen. Due to the white sub-dials, this is called a reverse panda dial. Additionally, the watch features red accents for timing short time intervals, e.g. whilst sailing. Below the steel screw back is the special Valjoux 234 calibre. This movement was also used in the Tudor Montecarlo, among others, and is highly reliable. This also is a Column Wheel Chronograph, which has a better quality than Cam chronograph, such as the Valjoux 7734. This movement has a high-quality gilt finish and is signed Mathey-TIssot. The movement has been disassembled, cleaned and serviced. The watch comes on a high-quality black rally strap, which perfectly fits the sporty '70s appearance of the watch. This strap can be adjusted up to a wrist circumference of at least 20 cm. The watch will be packaged very carefully and shipped insured to the new owner.
