Rare NPEA Eichorn Leader Dagger 'Bensberg School' This is a rare dagger to find, a NPEA (Nationalpolitische Erziehungsanstalte) or National Political Institute of Education commonly NAPOLA (Nationalpolitische Lehranstalt) or National Political Institute of Teaching. The dagger is made by Eichhorn and bears the inscription Mehr Sein Als Scheinen (to accomplish much and to stand out a little). The cross guard has the letter B for Bensberg School, it is a typical B with a larger upper bowl than the bottom (one can find this in the Weinand EPNA book, and also the numbers 163. The tang is marked as it should be with the letter H and c and a between the legs. The scabbard with nickel/silvered mountings and painted in olive green. Dagger and scabbard uncleaned condition.
