Höfner - 4550/S - Akustisk gitar, Archtop - Tyskland - 1962
For sale a beautiful vintage Höfner 4550/S acoustic archtop with single cutaway, made in Germany in the 1960s, probably 1962.
The guitar is in very good condition, some marks on the body, see photos for an impression. The guitar has beautiful pearloid headstock and bar pearloid position markers.
The guitar just had a new bone bridge with enough height to adjust the action if needed, frets have been leveled, the neck is set and adjusted for great playability and the guitar has new flatwound strings.
2 tuner heads are not original and the neck joint has had a crack (not a break I think) which is repaired.
The guitar comes in a simple gigbag.
A great chance to get a beautiful vintage Höfner with great playability.
Be aware: Due to the lockdown in The Netherlands and the logistic problems and consequences I'm not able to ship outside of the EU at this moment!
