In 1985-1986, the very last Beetles were brought from Mexico to Germany by VW, called Anniversary Beetles. So an Anniversary Beetle is the last officially sold VW Beetle and at the same time a real anniversary model, because the Beetle was 50 years old at the time. Of this special edition Beetle only 3150 units were produced and the very last one is in the Volkswagen Museum in Wolfsburg, Germany.
