Ancient Egyptian Open-Worked Scarab for Amenemhat III
This is a really fantastic open-worked ancient Egyptian steatite scarab for Amenemhat III, the sixth king of the Twelfth Dynasty of the Middle Kingdom. The scarab is inscribed with the prenomen of the pharaoh Amenemhat III, Nimaatre.
