The authentic Roman bead is restrung with modern materials. Total height: ± 38,5 mm Diameter bead: ± 8,3 mm The wire wrapping technique dates back from ca. 2000 BC and was a favourite technique of jewellery makers of ancient civilizations. Condition: good condition and wearable, on one side of the bead is a fragment missing. The ancient beads are restrung and combined with modern gold-plated spacer beads and fittings.
