Fill level: neck, excellent label, excellent capsule, bottle in perfect condition, stored perfectly in my air-conditioned cellar. The “Tenuta Nuova” by Casanova di Neri is a Brunello di Montalcino which is made with a selection of grapes that come from three company parcels: the Fiesole and Poderuccio vineyards are located in the north-east and are characterized by stony galestro soils: the Podernuovo vineyard faces east and is the highest, at 450 meters above sea level. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in truncated cone-shaped steel and wooden vats, with a maceration period on the skins of approximately 24 days. The wine matures for 36 months in oak barrels and finishes refinement with 12 months in the bottle. It has a ruby ​​red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet offers floral nuances of violet, aromas of morello cherry, red berries, hints of aromatic herbs and balsamic touches. The sip is long and intense, with a dense tannic texture and a beautiful taste progression, which pleasantly accompanies towards a refreshing finish.
