Nick Mason – Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports - is a music album released in 1981. Pink Floyd's drummer Nick Mason is the album's main artist. However, it is important to note that Mason is not the album's singer or main songwriter. Most of the vocals were done by former 10cc member Kevin Godley. The album has a rather unusual and experimental character. It is a mixture of jazz, prog rock and avant-garde music. In addition to Mason and Godley, other musicians such as Carla Bley, Robert Wyatt and Chris Spedding also worked on the album. "Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports" was recorded during a lull in Pink Floyd's activities. The album contains a variety of styles, from jazzy instrumentals to whimsical spoken word.
