A very impressive Ottoman Empire silver-metal ring. It presents a raised round bezel with a lapis lazuli intaglio showing a galloping horse. The intaglio decoration served as a stamp or a seal, illustrating a protective symbol or the heraldry of the owner. The raised bezel is richly decorated on all sides with a band of circular motifs and floral patterns, whilst its base features a bird's head motif. The ring band is also decorated with wave-like pattern. Good solid condition, wearable. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
