Nevinson and Montgomery Carmichael on this journey. Illustrations depict public spaces, historical landmarks, landscapes, cityscapes, and scenes of daily life in France, Florence, Venice, and every place to which Murray stopped along the way. Book in very good/fine condition. Inside all plates present with speaking tissue guards, text very clean. Externally textured beige cloth with gold lettering and decorations on the spine, top edge gilt. Light toning of cloth on upper part-see photos as part of description, some shelfwear, bright gilt.
