Nikon Nikonos V + 35mm f2.5 + The Nikonos Handbook Analogt kamera

This 24 x 36 is the last model manufactured in the long series of famous Nikonos whose production ceased at the beginning of the 2000s. Comes with the NIKKOR lens 35mm 1:2.5 serial number 555818 Includes also the excellent book written by Jim and Cathy Church "the Nikonos Handbook" The Nikonos V is made of aluminum alloy. It is an aperture priority automatic. When the choice of aperture is made, a diode indicates in the viewfinder the speed chosen by the automation. Speeds can be controlled electronically or manually from 1/30 to 1/1000 of a second. It is possible to operate it mechanically at 1/90. It features TTL exposure metering, including underwater flash with a full range of dedicated flashes. Like its predecessors, the device is specially designed to facilitate its use by divers (oversized controls and viewfinder, specific accessories for use in diving: special lenses, dedicated flashes, sticks, etc.). This device is waterproof up to 50 m Nikonos V underwater film camera Condition: Fully working camera in absolutely excellent cosmetic and optic condition (see photos). It has never seen water and was just used out of the water. Serial number 3016687 Works in all modes . Fires and advances correctly. Battery chamber is clean. A new set of batteries will be installed It is waterproof and ready for any rough conditions. Lens is in excellent working condition. VERY clean optics inside (no haze, dust, fungus, etc.) Perfectly clean rear glass surface. Nikon bought the license from a company in Levallois-Perret (Spirotechnique) to develop the concept by creating the Nikonos series. It is in some ways the culmination of a concept (watertight device by construction as opposed to devices usable while diving inside a dedicated box) which began in France with the creation of the Calypso-phot developed with the participation of the Commander Cousteau at the end of the 1950s. Nikon did subsequently develop a waterproof SLR by construction (the Nikonos RD AF) but which met with mixed success following water-tightness problems... The obligation, after any "drowning" of a return to after-sales service, did not always allow miracles.
