The grape variety Merlot is here the dominant variety with a planting of 75%. The soil varies from sand to pebbles and clay, but especially the areas with pebbles and clay bring the best wines that are comparable to Pomerol. These wines also have the potential to grow old and have a rich, full velvety texture with a beautiful bouquet. 1x 2004 Reserve La Croix Beaucourt , Médoc Medoc: The AOC Médoc concerns the northern part of the Gironde peninsula.
