Monymusk 2010 9 years old Velier - MBS - b. 2019 - 70cl

Monymusk 2010 is part of the Jamaican Still series, composed of the most authentic expressions of Jamaican rums, a nation that boasts an ancient tradition in the production of this distillate, being an ideal place for the cultivation of sugar cane. Monymusk Distillery Ltd gives life to the homonymous rum, with the molasses which is fermented in large barrels using only natural yeasts, which will release the particular aroma to the final product. After this phase, the fermented product obtained was distilled in 2010 in a continuous column, and then remained for 9 years in the tropics, reaching a high level of congeneres and esters. A true masterpiece dedicated to all rum enthusiasts. In the glass it appears enveloped in an amber hue with brilliant golden reflections. Aromas of tropical and candied fruit, caramel, cross the olfactory corridor, at times spicy and characterized by references to hydrocarbons. On the palate it has a soft and persuasive entry, with a large and round sip, which closes persistently in the finish.
