Founded the Japan Nanga Institute in collaboration with Tajika Chikson and Yano Kyoson. He is one of the leading figures in the Japanese Nanga world. He is a member of the Imperial Art Academy and a member of the Imperial Household Art Agency. He died at the age of 70.

Komuro Suiun (1874-1945)

1874 (Meiji 7) - 1945 (Showa 20)
Born in Gunma Prefecture. Studied under Soun Tasaki.
