Finnish medal bar which has three medals: 1. Finnish Reserve Officers Association's Gilded Merit medal, which was/is given for meritorious activity for the association. 2. Winter War Commemorative medal, with clasp "RANNIKKOPUOLUSTUS" meaning Coastal Defence, the medal also has swords which means he saw combat. 3. Continuation War Commemorative medal, given for veteran's of the Continuation War. little info about the recipient of the bar: in the Winter War he fought on the islands of Lake Ladoga, particularly near Kitilä where the Finnish forces had enveloped a Soviet Division. After the war he went to a Reserve Officer Course and after completing it, was made an officer, Second Lieutenant. During the Continuation War he fought with the 14th Division, most notably in Rukajärvi.
