He has also become a prominent figure through his participation in various group exhibitions, including the "Emerging Japanese Artists Vol. 7 On Your Body" at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. In the "sight" series, Asakai gently releases the shutter when the subject of the photograph has chosen a movie, relaxes at home, and begins to watch a movie, immersed in the movie and unprotected.
