The Gilded Palace of Sin is the first album
by the country rock group the Flying Burrito Brothers,
released on February 6, 1969. this is a 1973 press
Featuring among others Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman.
Although not being a commercial success,
The Gilded Palace of Sin has been widely regarded
as an important album in 1970s, with a major influence
on the development of music. All in all an iconic album.
On the cover the band members are wearing suits
especially designed for the foto shoot.
Striking and indicative of the time are the image
of a naked woman and marijuana leaves
on Gram Parsons' costume.
Album and cover in very good condition.
Original inner sleeve, discolored due to light influence.
