Indus Valley Pottery Bowl with Painted Decoration
Circa 3rd millennium BC
This pottery bowl was crafted through wheel throwing. The bowl of a rich orange hue features a conical-shaped body that gradually flares towards its opening. The interior is adorned with black-painted curvilinear decoration.

Flourishing from approximately 3300 to 1300 BC, the Indus Valley Civilization achieved notable advancements in urban planning, trade, and craftsmanship.
