Never used 1984. Sarajevo Winter Olympics torch.
Manufactured by Nippon Koki Co. and Mizuno Corporation, the torch comes in two parts with a gold and silver colored base bowl (handle) and a stainless-steel cylinder. The bowl has "Sarajevo '84" and an "M" (for Mizuno) inscribed on the gold platform with "MIZUNO CORPORATION JAPAN" engraved on the very bottom of the handle. The 1984 Sarajevo Winter Games emblem appears on the cylinder. The torch is 57 cm tall, weighs 0,68 kg and includes a display stand from Mizuno Corporation and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation.
It has been in a display case all these years and is in excellent condition.
It was a gift for the organiser of the Olympic art exhibition.
A unique and rare specimen.
