Two antique French fans from circa 1870.
The fan at the top of the picture has a double layer silk leaf, hand painted with floral motifs. The guards and sticks are made of bone and are hand carved and painted with mother of pearl inlay. The fan is in a good condition with small natural signs of use, in addition there is a repair to one of the guards. Please see the photos as they are the part of the description.
The fan at the bottom of the picture has a double layer silk leaf, hand painted with floral motifs. The guards and sticks are made of bone and are hand carved and painted . The fan is in a fair condition with age related brown spots, in addition there is a repair to one of the guards. Please see the photos as they are the part of the description.
