Ancient Egyptian Necklace made of Turquois and Faience beads with Amarna Taweret amulet - 47 cm - Strung on modern wire with Silver lobsterlock(925). - Total length: 47 cm. Hanger 2,5 cm. Average bead size: 3-4 mm. - Turquoise was very closely associated with the Goddess of Joy and Fertility, Hathor, who was one of the most important divinities in Ancient Egypt. - Taweret is the mothergoddes/goddes of protection at birth and the first nursing period.
