This 20th-century hand-carved statue captures the deity's tranquil essence, depicted seated in a lotus position, symbolic of purity and enlightenment. The front of the statue, including the figure's skin and the lotus base, is adorned with gilding, showcasing the figure's divine nature and the meticulous artistry of the period. With time, the statue has developed a patina that speaks to its venerable age, including wear, scratches, and discoloration. Notable signs of antiquity include peeling of the paint and gilding, along with cracks that tell the tale of its historical legacy. The right arm is completely detached, and one of the left arms is also missing, with two detached hands preserved in a plastic bag. These conditions are clearly documented in the photographs provided. Dimensions: approx.
