Vintage illuminated Wolsey car emblem. The emblem is made of a chrome-plated metal rim, a central translucent plastic insert and a rear bracket for mounting the backlight, which is made of copper and iron. The mascot is in excellent condition, intact, without losses, but on the back of the emblem you can see that one of the places where the bracket is soldered to the chrome rim has fallen behind the original place of soldering, as shown in the penultimate photo! Presumably the emblem was on the radiator grille of a Wolsey car model 2200 or model 18-22 from the 1970s, a photo of an example will be in the last photo.
