Redigaffi was the first Italian wine to be awarded 100 out of 100 points by Robert Parker. It has an international cult following and is highly sought-after among wine lovers. In the glass it is of a beautiful ruby red colour with a nose that has a fruity and spicy bouquet, with small black berries, cardamom, cloves, mastic and leather, mixed with cocoa, vanilla and a light toasted finish. This is a wine that continues to evolve in the glass, opening up to tertiary nuances, such as minerality and a balsamic taste. In the mouth it feels opulent; the glycerine component is expertly balanced by its dense tannic texture, echoed by freshness and minerality. The olfactory taste is very persistent. This international grape, the Merlot, has now become Tuscan in Suvereto, providing a unique tasting experience.
