This is largely due to the current owner, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, expanding operations to include Sancerre, Chablis, Beaune, Pouilly-Fuissé, Champagne, and Provence. Baron de L is an iconic wine, considered one of the best Sauvignon Blancs in the world. This wine from Pouilly-Fumé is made from grapes sourced from different plots and undergoes aging 'sur lie'.
