Titan of Douro
The work from the beginning has always focused on searching for old vines in the most genuine and least explored places in the Douro, where there are new stories to tell in the form of wine. It was at the foot of Serra do Reboredo (1,000 meters high), in Paredes da Beira, at the highest point in the Douro, that it all began. Surrounded by an abundance of granite outcrops, the area has sandy granite soils interspersed with quartz veins, altitudes between 700 – 1,000 m, located on the slopes of the Távora River and has an enviable heritage of centuries-old vineyards, untouched over time and maintained by hands weathered by years of hard work for generations. This results in wines of great freshness, character and identity!
The focus will always be on leveraging the best that the vineyard offers, respecting its history, tradition and the essence of its people.
