2018 Dujac Puligny-Montrachet “Les Folatieres” - Burgunder 1er Cru - 1 Flaske (0,75 l)

1 x Dujac Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru “Les Folatieres” 2018 Bottle in excellent condition Shipping with UPS or FedEx worldwide + 100% insurance The history of Maison Dujac began in 1968, when Jacques Seysses and his wife Rosalind acquired their first parcels of vines at Morey-Saint-Denis, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits en Bourgogne. Jacques, a wine enthusiast of Bordeaux origin, brought with him a fresh take on Burgundian winemaking, while respecting the region's age-old traditions and know-how. Indeed, it is in tribute to Jacques Dujac, Rosalind's grandfather, that the House is named "Dujac", marking a family heritage that endures. Over the years, the Seysses family has expanded its Domaine by acquiring new parcels in some of the greatest terroirs of Bourgogne. Today, Maison Dujac's Domaine extends over a considerable area of vines, spread over several prestigious appellations such as Morey-Saint-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Vosne-Romanée, to name but a few. Each parcel is carefully selected for its qualitative potential and unique character, illustrating the Seysses family's commitment to producing exceptional wines. Terroir plays a fundamental role in the expression of Maison Dujac wines. The Bourgogne is famous for its geological diversity, and each appellation has specific soils that give the wines unique characteristics. The clay-limestone soils of Morey-Saint-Denis bring finesse and elegance to the wines, while the limestone- and clay-rich soils of Gevrey-Chambertin bring strength and structure. As for the stony soils of Vosne-Romanée, they give rise to wines of remarkable finesse and aromatic complexity. House Dujac attaches great importance to respect for the environment and sustainable viticulture. The vines are cultivated with the greatest respect for nature, using practices that respect the ecosystem, and keeping chemical treatments to a minimum. Manual labor is favored at every stage, from pruning to harvesting, to pRéserver the integrity of the grapes and enable an authentic expression of the terroir. The quality of winemaking at Maison Dujac is the fruit of meticulous know-how and an artisanal approach. Grapes are harvested by hand, sorted with extreme care, then fermented in open vats to allow gentle, delicate maceration. Ageing is carried out in oak barrels, with a proportion of new barrels adapted to each cuvée, in order to pRéserver the subtle balance between fruit, oak and terroir aromas. The wines of Maison Dujac are renowned for their elegance, finesse and ability to faithfully reflect the character of the terroir from which they come. They are highly appreciated by connoisseurs of fine wines, both in France and abroad, and are the subject of sustained demand on the Bourgogne wine market.
