Diego Carchesio Art

I am Diego Carchesio, a contemporary Italian artist originally from Abruzzo, currently living and working in Milan. My artistic research explores the relationship between the visible and the invisible through a material and symbolic painting language, where the surface of the canvas becomes a threshold space capable of generating an osmotic exchange between the artwork and the observer, activating emotion and perception. At the center of my artistic practice is the project “© Behind the Canvas (Dietro la Tela)”, a pictorial research that explores what exists beyond the visible image, inviting the viewer to establish a deeper relationship with the artwork. My work is represented by PassepARTout Unconventional Gallery in Milan and documented in the Catalogo dell’Arte Moderna Mondadori (CAM n. 61). *** Sono Diego Carchesio, artista contemporaneo di origine abruzzese. Vivo e lavoro a Milano. La mia ricerca pittorica indaga il rapporto tra visibile e invisibile attraverso una pittura materica e simbolica, in cui la superficie della tela diventa uno spazio di soglia capace di generare uno scambio osmotico tra l’opera e l’osservatore, attivando emozione e percezione. Al centro del mio percorso artistico si sviluppa il progetto pittorico “© Dietro la tela”, una ricerca che esplora ciò che esiste oltre l’immagine visibile, invitando lo spettatore a entrare in relazione profonda con l’opera. Il mio lavoro è rappresentato dalla PassepARTout Unconventional Gallery di Milano ed è documentato nel Catalogo dell’Arte Moderna Mondadori (CAM n. 61).
