AT-36 (Eagle 36) daysailer - 2006

The AT-36 is a very easy to use daysailer with classic lines and modern comfort. The ship brings associations to mind of the J-class ships of yesteryear or it could be considered to be a Dragon+, with modern comfort. Built entirely in the Netherlands in 2006 and used as a demonstration model for the Russian market. The model has been developed further and sold under the name Eagle 36 by Leonardo Yachts from Sneek. Due to circumstances this ship returned to the Netherlands with some overdue maintenance. The ship is stored on dry land and under a roof in Leeuwarden. Crane available. Total length: 10.64 m Length waterline: 7.72 m Width: 2.55 m Draught: 1.20 m. Weight: 3,300 kg. Vertical clearance: 12.50 m Round bilge hull built from Strongplank. Equipped with bulb keel. Motorisation: Electric sail drive engine with a power of 3.2 KW. CE category C. CE marking (registration number) included. See pictures. The system is thus explained for single-handed operation. From the spacious cockpit, you can hoist the sails single-handed. The Selden mast is equipped with a furling boom system by Profurl and fittings by Harken. The sails (by TD sails, Edam) are in good condition. The spacious cockpit has the instruments consisting of a Raymarine GPS plotter and indicators for speed and wind direction, also by Raymarine. The ship is equipped with all modern comforts such as: 2-ring induction hob, fridge, hot/cold water (shower) and electric toilet. All of this powered by 5 batteries (3 x small and 2 x large batteries) and transformed through a Victron inverter system. All documentation is provided and included. In the bow there is a hut with a spacious double berth, sleeping for a couple of days in the daysailer is not a problem. The engine compartment contains the saildrive engine, batteries and inverter. There is also the water tank and the electric water heater for 10L. Finally, the secondary resources such as fire extinguisher, tool box, towing line, life jackets and mooring lines are also all part of the equipment. There is overdue maintenance on the following points: woodwork (mahogany), specially on the port side of the cockpit. The electrical system needs some attention on the propulsion control points (the continuous circuit for boosting speed does not work properly) and lighting in the mast. Finally, the hull needs to be repainted. The ship is an enormous elegant sight on lakes and coastal waters and sails wonderful. With only little wind you will reach decent speeds. In short, the AT-36 is the perfect boat to go sailing during weekends and to enjoy everything water sports enthusiasts enjoy the most! Catawiki and I recommend to inspect the ship prior to bidding. The ship is offered excluding transport. **** Disclaimer: We recommend viewing this vessel on site before placing a bid. This is in order to avoid any disappointment.
