Two savings cabinets that used to be in a lot of German pubs. I don't know if they were common in other countries / the Netherlands. Behind every slot is a container where you could store spare change or paper money. In this way, you could save for a party, for example. See the German explanation below. The cabinets are marked Nordia-Sesam, Berlin. Type number is on the back of the cabinets. Both have space for 24 compartments. They can be locked. Both keys are included. Text above the left savings cabinet: Kriessparkasse Aurich Ostfriesische Spartkasse. Dimensions: 24 x 8 x 29 cm high and 24 x 8 x 36 cm high. Condition: The savings cabinet with text is almost complete. Only the chain for the key is missing (as far as I know). The right savings cabinet does not have the text above it. In addition, a few boxes are missing. The box is damaged. See the photos for a further description. Ein Sparschrank ist eine mit mehreren Geldeinwurfschlitzen ausgestattete Spardose zur Wandbefestigung. Jeder der nummerierten oder beschrifteten Schlitze führt zu einem eigenen Sparfach für Münz- oder Papiergeld. Sparkästen werden in Gaststätten an einer Wand angebracht und dienen dem geselligen „Club-“ oder „Vereinssparen“ einer festen Gruppe von Sparern. Aus Sicht von Geldinstituten gehörten Sparschränke früher zu den von ihnen bereitgestellten Kleinspareinrichtungen, während Spargemeinschaften die Schränke heute selbst beschaffen und unterhalten müssen.
