Gold plated bronze figure of Amitayus with hallmark and from the period. The figure is seated in dhyanasana on an open rectangular lotus throne, with the hands in dhyanamudra, dressed in a coat, and with an elegant headdress inlaid with stones and a lot of jewels. This piece is in good condition with some minor flaws and old damage; see the photos. The characters on the base mean: "Large Qing Qianlong made in the year 1747 during the reign of Qianlong of the great Qing dynasty. Marked on the inside by the artist.
