Hudson - Hornet Twin H-Cam - 1952

Up for auction is a 4-door Hudson Hornet sedan from 1952 with Twin H-Power. This vehicle comes from a HET Club member from Oklahoma, from where it was exported to Germany in 2015. The history of this Hudson Hornet is mostly known. This vehicle was initially registered to a Hudson dealer in New York. After that, it changed owners in New York twice and then went to Texas in 2003. Here, among other things, the engine and the interior were overhauled with original parts. The Hornet then stood in the Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich, New York for several years. After the shipment, the Hudson was driven on the road for about 300 km from the port. Without any problems. The car has matching numbers! Unfortunately, the Hudson was stored in a garage the past 3 years and some rust blisters have developed (particularly around the trim). The vehicle needs to be repainted in order to have a perfect appearance (see photos). The tyres should also be replaced given their age. Despite of all of this, the Hudson can be driven and it is a lot of fun! The car will be handed over with American documents (US title) and all documents confirming payment of the import duties (customs/tax). This vehicle can be viewed, test driven, and picked up in Göttingen, Germany. This is a used vehicle. It is recommended to view the vehicle prior to placing a bid in order to avoid any disappointment. Please contact Catawiki to arrange an appointment or for further information. Your bids are exclusive of transport and/or export costs, unless otherwise stated.
