Thousand flowers tapestry titled 'Les Vendages’. It is a reproduction of the medieval tapestry of Flanders at the Cluny museum (Paris). The tapestry measures 78 x 100 cm and it is lined with canvas at the back. Very good condition (acquired from an antique dealer in the 1970s). Exceptional: Large and heavy Aubusson style tapestry Woven in one piece. Made of pure wool with Tournay stitching on Jacquart loom. c. 1st half of the 20th century Very nice piece for a castle or a mansion or a large host house. Folded for shipping with care. Mondial relay insured shipping or other, depending on the country.
