Reference on back of front frame to right only: B&L 5022 (NO reference inside temple tip - first Wayfarers didn't have). Shiny translucent tortoise shell effect plastic frame and temples. Metal seven prong hinges. Standard size (50mm wide lenses) with G-15 green/gray lenses, optical glass (Ray-Ban G-15 lens is a Neutral Green Lens Tint that provides comfort, reduces eyestrain and enhances optical clarity by transmitting colours equally; the G-15 Neutral Green Lens ensures colours retain their true value and provides a natural view). "B&L RAY-BAN USA" inside right temple. "WAYFARER" engraved inside left temple. Pre-dates "Ray-Ban" signature on right lens. Both lenses etched BL outside (see pictures for detail). CONDITION: Excellent plus condition overalllly with no obvious wear marks and no flaws. Frames have been lightly hand buffed to restore original shine and beauty and to erase some use marks like teeth marks. Lenses have only few microscopic scratches from regular use outside and the left lens shows a small scuff in the middle (last picture), acceptable for such a vintage item. No obvious or hard scratches. No nicks or other scuffs, no chips or cracks on the lenses. Inside unblemished. Vision is perfect. Frames and temples are practically free from scratches, especially after buffing. No deformations or oxidations. Original shape and alignment is preserved. Hinges well adjusted - especially tight, stiff and moving smoothly. Screws original with little marks. All perfectly clean.
