This is a very rare vehicle. The frame was rebuilt and covered again by an old wheelwright. As I was told, this Opel was built at Mercedes in Stuttgart in 1947, using the new parts that were available at the time. First it served as an ambulance, then as a fire truck. The previous owner used it as a stationary camper van. Subsequently, I have had the vehicle rebuilt back to its original condition, as far as that was possible. As you can see in the photos, no expense was spared to get this vehicle back on the road again. I needed a total of 6 years to make everything so that the vehicle was nearly completely original and to obtain the German vintage car license plate (H plate). Now the vehicle is waiting for its proud new owner. This vehicle can be viewed and retrieved in 88069 Tettnang (Germany).
