In 1983 Alfa Romeo decided to present a new model of the beloved Spider commonly known as the “Duetto”. The car identified as the 3rd series “Aerodinamica” had substantial aesthetic changes, such as the adoption of new wrap-around bumpers, while the short tail was modified by a new set of larger rear lights, and above all it was characterised by a black spoiler in synthetic material. - The version we are offering was placed on the market in 1986, that is, a new version of the 2000 model with carburettors, called “Quadrifoglio Verde”. The most evident body updates are: front and rear bumpers incorporating the aerodynamic rocker panels, in a common design with the “side skirts”, and the new 15-inch alloy wheels. All these changes make it immediately distinguishable. Some changes were also made inside. In fact, the “Quadrifoglio Verde” has a more aggressive look, equipped with bucket seats in gunmetal grey colour and red stitching, like the carpet on the floor. The “Quadrifoglio Verde” was produced from 1986 to 1989 in 2,692 units and in two colours only: Alfa red and metallic grey. The car we are offering is a typical expression of the 1980s Spider. This car is in good overall condition and running. It is also equipped with its original hardtop, whose colour matches with the body, and service book. It needs some maintenance work to be perfect, even if it runs. No accidents. It comes from Switzerland and was registered in Italy in 1998. AY white number plates. To be inspected.
