Citroën - Traction 11 B Familiale - 1956

1966 Citroen 11 B Family in good condition. This is a beautiful Citroen 11 Familiar, with three rows of seats. These cars were produced with a lengthened chassis of 327 cm (the standard chassis was 309 cm). To accommodate up to nine people, a bench seat was added between the rear seat and the front seats, although it is used more for children. It is equipped with the D engine, which is the most powerful engine that could be fitted in Citroen 11s in combination with a three-speed manual gearbox. The history of this unit is well known. Its history begins in Badajoz, where it was sold new to the Spanish Administration as an official car. Once its service as an official car was over, it was auctioned in Madrid in 1965 and registered as a private car on 7th of January 1966, being acquired by a Cuban engineer, who used it as a family car for 26 years. In 1992 it was acquired by a second owner, who kept it in regular use, participating in various local events on a regular basis. The car is registered as a historic vehicle in Spain, has a valid MOT recently obtained and valid in Spain for four more years. The bodywork is in very good condition, and the paintwork, chassis, underbody, etc. are rust-free. The car was painted in the two colours shown in the photos. Its two previous owners undertook meticulous maintenance, including a total engine overhaul. All this can be checked in the comprehensive maintenance history with all invoices, which are available for review. All four Michelin Classic tyres were new two months ago. The vehicle is located in San Sebastian de los Reyes, Madrid, Spain. Offers do not include transport or export unless otherwise stated.
