The 2007 vintage was a big wine year in Champagne. Thanks to a mild winter that favored early flowering from the second half of May, this complex year produced Chardonnays of great quality. The sun and the heat of summer allowed the grapes to ripen perfectly, allowing the harvest to begin at the end of August and last until the beginning of September. The Dom Ruinart Rose 2007 champagne is made from a blend of 80% Chardonnay from the Côte de Blancs (Avize, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Chouilly) and the Montagne de Reims (Sillery, Verzenay) and 20% Pinot Noir vinified as a red wine, produced by the unique Grand Cru of A.
