Rosso di Miani is an intense, full-bodied and spicy red wine born from different grapes grown in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, assembled every year in variable percentages. After maturation for at least 24 months in French oak barrels, it releases deep and complex aromas of pepper, dried flowers, berries and sweet spices. The sip is soft and structured, with good and elegant freshness ruby red with hints of black cherry; the consistency is full, although the alcohol is not at very high levels (13%). When you bring it to your nose, you enjoy smelling the freshness of fruit, a concentrate of the forest, from wild blackberry to plum and black cherry, interspersed with vegetal scents that recall the presence of cabernet franc. Then it opens up, showing an above average personality, with spicy aromas of clove and juniper, pink pepper, sandalwood, withered flowers, finishing with an elegant note of tar and tobacco.
