The haori was made by hand with tie-dye(shibori 絞り) The sewn collar that you can see in the photo is designed not to lose its shape even when stored. Some patterns give a sense of playfulness. The lining is also particular about the design. That's one of the Japanese aesthetics called "IKI(粋)" . It’s the beauty of Japan.
