The Gold Edition is the first bottling in a trilogy. It is the first Big Peat with age indication. It seems that the next two come from the same mount, but each one year older. Just like Douglas Laing did earlier with Yula. The label indicates that the whiskey was distilled in 1992. That means there is no Port Ellen in this version. A total of 3,000 bottles were bottled with a cask strength of 52.1%. The whiskey is not cold filtered and has its natural color.
