Beautiful shape and color ceramic vase.
This is a Mashiko ware vase titled "Descendant of Powder Blue Sand Vessels." It is one of Tsutomu Udagawa's finest pieces, combining an excellently designed shape with the beauty of petals overflowing. There are very fine, inconspicuous chips, so please refer to the photos for details.
Good condition
"宇田川勉 Tsutomu Udagawa" is a ceramist born in 1950 in Chiba Prefecture. At the age of 25, he moved to Mashiko in Ibaraki Prefecture and studied under Kazuyoshi Kimura before becoming independent in 1980.
