His aliases are Yukei Shochi-dojin, Issai-Enkyaku, and Koun. Studied under Shiko Sorin and Tani Buncho. He excelled at flower-and-bird paintings and served in the Okudaira family of the Buzen Nakatsu Domain (Oita Prefecture). He died in the 12th year of Bunsei era at the age of 57.

Painter of the late Edo period.
Born in An'ei 2. Born in Edo.
His name was Kou or Makoto.
His nickname was Kokkyo, Shukumei.
His aliases are Yukei Shochi-dojin, Issai-Enkyaku, and Koun.
