The subject of my auction is MACALLAN CLASSIC OUT LIMITED 2018.
Ripening only in selected sherry casks from the Jerez region in Spain. As the second edition of the Classic Cut limited edition, released in 2018 (the first edition of 2017), it was selected and bottled with 51.2% by Ian Morrison to show the amazing nature of the distillery, its memorable flavors and timelessness. The whiskey is dominated by aromas of oranges, lemons, nutmeg and ginger. In the background you can feel vanilla and polished oak. The taste is like a mirror reflection of the fragrance. Ginger appears with nutmeg, and after a while give way to oranges and vanilla notes coming to the fore. Long, dry and oak finish.
